Metasploit will not run on W2K

Description

I am new to Metasploit and its not going well.

Ive installed Metasploit 3.1 usin the windows installer. It installed with no errors and the online update went well. For some reason, I cant run the gui or web interface. A small cmd window comes up, but I cant read whats in it because it dissapears.

No antivirus installed yet. Any suggesstions?

Can you check the files under:

%appdata%\.msf3\logs\

for errors.
